Illinois Wesleyan women’s soccer claims 5th straight NCAA berth

ADA, Ohio – The Illinois Wesleyan women’s soccer team will be making its fifth consecutive and 10th overall appearance in the NCAA Division III tournament when the Titans take on Centre College on Saturday, at Kerscher Stadium in Ada, Ohio, at the Ohio Northern-hosted regional.

Times of the regional have yet to be announced.

The No. 16-ranked Titans are 16-4-0 and are one of 21 teams to earn an at-large bid into the national tournament. Centre College has a 15-3-2 record.

No. 13-ranked Ohio Northern (17-1-2) will host Penn St.-Behrend (15-4-1) in the other first round of the NCAA Div. III Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 11. The Polar Bears earned an automatic bid to the tournament after winning their second Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament title in school history. Penn St.-Behrend earned an automatic bid to the tournament after winning their seventh straight Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference title.
