State Farm Holiday Classic releases brackets for 2017 field

BLOOMINGTON – The State Farm Holiday Classic brackets have been released for the four-day tournament in Bloomington-Normal that starts December 27.

The top seeded boys teams are Wheaton-Warrenville South and Winnebago. The No. 1 seeded girls squads are Peoria Richwoods and Annawan. Central Catholic drew a three seed for the small school girls.

A majority of the 64 teams have two or fewer losses while nine of the teams are currently undefeated.

“The committee has worked really hard to improve the overall quality of both sides of the tournament and the small school boys has been our staple for a long time, the quality of the events and the teams are in there are excellent,” Classic President Dan Highland said.
