Tom Bounds
Thomas “Tom” M. Bounds, 63 of Bloomington, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 at 2:27 a.m. at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, Ill.
Tom’s service will be held on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington with Rev. Christine McNeal officiating. Following the service burial will be at the Lexington TWP Cemetery, Lexington. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Home Sweet Home Mission.
Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
Tom was born on July 4, 1954 in Bloomington. He is the son of Cleon and Helen (Stienlicht) Bounds Sr.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Bernard (Pam) Bounds of Morris, Ill., Cleon Bounds Jr. of Redding, Calif., John Bounds of Bloomington, Louise (Don) Savage of Normal and Lois Percopo of Harbor City, Calif. along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Robert and Richard and two sisters; Beverly and Joyce.
Tom attended Saybrook-Arrowsmith High School. He worked for J.B. Hunt Trucking and later worked for Nussbaum Transportation retiring in December 2017.
Tom had a high standard of work ethics and enjoyed driving over the road. Beyond working he was a very kind and generous brother, uncle and friend. His family was important to him and he loved them very much and they loved him just as much. They know because of his faith that he is at rest in the loving hands of God.

Ramona Spears
Ramona F. Brown Spears, 88 of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 at Bloomington Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Ramona’s celebration of life service will be held on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington with Rev. Susan Ballard Shepherd officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children; Kim F. Brown of Bloomington, Carol Lardinois of Jerseyville, IL and Nancy (Roger) Reinhart of Waynesville, IL. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Dustin (Miranda) Davis, Micah Davis, Lanie (Neal) Coulter and Matt (Kristi) Reinhart along with 12 great grandchildren.
Ramona was born on May 1, 1929 in Meyer, Ill. She is the daughter of Elmer and Ruby (Downs) Froman.
She graduated from Quincy High School and Blessing School of Nursing. She worked as an occupational health nurse for State Farm Insurance Cos. retiring in 1993.
