BLOOMINGTON – A couple known for community efforts, a laborer who helped create jobs and a long-time broadcaster on these airwaves are this year’s History Makers to be honored by the McLean County Museum of History.

This year’s honorees are Paul Harmon, former Normal mayor and member of many governmental and service organization boards, his wife Sandra, labor leader and retraining specialist Ronn Morehead and WJBC morning man for 35 years Don Munson.

The History Makers Gala annually recognizes senior citizens for outstanding and lifelong contributions of time and talents to make McLean County a better place to live. The sixth annual gala is June 28th at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Bloomington. Tickets go on sale May 4th at the museum or at mchistory.org.
