WJBC, in conjunction with Meatheads of Bloomington-Normal and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Maddie Roop – U-High Softball

Maddie held Jacksonville to a one-hit shutout, then drove in four runs the next night including a home run.

McCade Brown – Normal West Baseball

McCade struck out 16 hitters and walked three while taking a no-decision in a 5-4 loss to U-High at the Corn Crib during the Michael Collins Invitational.
