BLOOMINGTON – Easterseals is continuing to expand its autism efforts.
The organization held a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday morning to signify the opening of their new autism learning center in Bloomington. Easterseals officials said this program has been in high demand. They already have a full roster for the program.
“We can provide more services to kids with autism,” said Jamie Severtson, Easterseals VP of Behavioral Health. “And we can give them the opportunity to reach their goals. Reach goals that they might not have been able to reach before.”
Easterseals hopes to continue finding new ways to help children with autism get accustomed to everyday activities.
