Harold DunbarHarold Dunbar

Harold R. Dunbar, 60, of Hudson, passed away at 2:58 p.m., June 18, at his home.

His memorial visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Interment will be private.There will be a Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m., Saturday at the Sit N Bull in Hudson.

Harold was born Nov. 30, 1954 in Normal, the son of Walter and Betty Maxwell Dunbar. He married Sheila Gawthorp on Oct. 4, 1980 in Bloomington. She survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Tammy (Butch) Shepherd of Heyworth; two step-children, Amy Kemp and Marty (Nikki) Oakes, both of Bloomington; a grandson, Grant Shepherd, seven step-grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy and Jacob Kemp and Joey, Justin, Hayley and Kara Oakes; a step great grandson, Remington Oakes; one brother, Skip (Anne) Dunbar of California and a sister, Roxa (Eddie) Baize, Sr of Towanda.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Harold graduated from Normal Community High School in 1973. After school, he started as a mechanic and left as Service Manager for Yowell International (later Jones International), where he worked for over 20 years. He was then Maintenance Director for Nussbaum Transportation Service for 18 years.

Harold was a jack of all trades and could fix about anything. He was a great friend that was always there for those who needed help.

Harold was an avid golf player during the summer months, Hazy Hills was his second home. He also enjoyed deer hunting and riding his Harley with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Gloria GuldenGloria Gulden

Gloria Jane Gulden, 91, of Bloomington, formerly of Fargo, N.D., passed away on June 20 at 3:40 p.m. at Heritage Health in Bloomington.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private Celebration of Life and inurnment will be held at a later date. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Gloria was born on Aug. 17, 1923 in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, a daughter of John and Mary

Csanady Konzek. She married Tracy Gulden, Sr. In August 1944. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1977.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Neustel of Normal; three grandchildren, Kelsey Neustel of Bloomington, Dana Neustel of Champaign, and Roxanne Gulden of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; sister, Calra Alderson and brother, George Konzek, both of Richland, Wash. and brother, John Konzek of Billings, Mont.

In addition to her husband Tracy, Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; four sons, Tracy, Jr., James, John Gulden and infant son, David Gulden, and a brother, Robert Konzek.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Health in Bloomington for all the love and care given to Gloria during her stay.

Donald HolsteinDonald Holstein

Donald G. Holstein, 85, of Bloomington, died peacefully in his sleep on June 20 at his home.

He was born May 21, 1930 in Goshen, Ind., son of Howard Le Roy and Stella Florence Wingham Holstein.  He married Mary Patricia Barker, she preceded him in death.

Surviving are his five children, Craig Holstein of Bozeman, Mont., Daniel (Rufina) Holstein and Cynthia (Rex) Armstrong, both of Bloomington, Peter Holstein of Cary, N.C. and Christopher Holstein of Bloomington.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was a United States Air Force veteran.  He was proud to be an Alumnus of the University of Indiana.

Donald was a long-time employee of General Electric Company in Bloomington before retiring.
