BLOOMINGTON – Titans and Illini will meet on the basketball floor this fall.
Illinois Wesleyan men’s basketball will visit the University of Illinois for an exhibition game on Friday, November 2 according to an announcement from both schools.
The squads last met in an exhibition in 2005 which Illinois won 82-60 after leading the Titans by just one point midway through the second half.
IWU returns its top five scorers from last season’s team that finished 19-8 and shared the CCIW title with a 12-4 mark. Illinois went 14-18 and 4-14 in the Big Ten Conference in the first year under coach Brad Underwood.
Game time for the Nov. 2 contest at State Farm Center has not been announced. Tickets are through the University of Illinois.
