Shots fired early Saturday morning in Normal

NORMAL – The sound of gunshots were heard early Saturday morning in the 800 block of South Fell Avenue in Normal.

Normal Police responded to the scene just before 5 a.m. to find evidence of multiple shots fired into a residence.

Residents were in the home at the time of the shooting but no injuries were sustained.

Police say they responded to the same 800 block earlier in the morning around 2 a.m. as a vehicle endured criminal damage.

Anyone with information on the shooting or criminal damage to the vehicle is asked to contact the Normal Police Department at (309) 454-9535.
