Uptown road closures for Make Music Normal

Normal – There will be several road closures around Uptown Normal this weekend as the town hosts a music festival.

Make Music Normal is a two-day, free event that will take place Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. To accommodate for the event there will be several road closures:

Thursday, June 20 at noon
Alley between Firehouse Pizza and Insomnia Cookie

Friday, June 21 at 2 am
Uptown Circle
East Beaufort Street from Linden Street to Uptown Circle
West Beaufort Street from Uptown Circle to the entrance of the Uptown Station parking deck
Constitution Boulevard from College Avenue to Uptown Circle
North Street from Fell Avenue to Uptown Circle
Broadway Ave from College Avenue to West Beaufort Street
Constitution Trail from Linden Street to College Avenue

Staff will reopen these streets at the conclusion of the event on Saturday, 6/22 as safety allows with the exception of North Street from Fell Avenue to Broadway Avenue which will remain closed until noon on Sunday, 6/23.

During the event, free parking is available at the College Avenue parking deck. Parking restrictions for flat lots have also been lifted.
