BPD: Gunshots fired on city’s west side

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police confirmed they found evidence of gunfire before dawn on Saturday at a west side public housing complex.

Police say they recovered some shell casings at Sunnyside Court after getting the call about 3 a.m. No one was wounded, and police have received no reports of property damage from the shooting.

Police have not made any arrests. They’re asking anyone with information to call BPD at 309-820-8888, or McLean County Crime Stoppers at 309-828-1111.
