LIVINGSTON COUNTY – Two additional educators in Central Illinois have seen their teaching licenses suspended.
Our news partner HOI-ABC reports Kathryn Patten, 34, of rural Dwight, was arrested May 31 by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office on charges of sexually assaulting an underage male student.
She is still listed as a staff member in the family and consumer science department at Dwight Township High School.
James M. Stoecklin was arrested on two counts of possession of child pornography involving a male student.
He was a teacher at Saunemin Elementary School and head baseball coach at Pontiac Township High School.
Both orders were signed Friday, Oct. 25 by state superintendent of education Carmen Ayala and served to Patten and Stoecklin Oct. 31.
