DeWitt County drug bust results in 10 arrests

CLINTON – Ten people were arrested this week during a drug bust DeWitt County.

The DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office said the individuals face several drug charges, including the manufacture and delivery of cocaine and methamphetamine. Authorities said during the investigations, officers seized over two pounds of meth, several ounces of cocaine, six vehicles related to the delivery of narcotics, and over $3,000 in suspected drug money.

The 10 individuals were taken to the DeWitt County Correctional Facility and bond hearings are pending, according to police.

The arrests were made by Task Force 6, which is comprised of officers from the Clinton Police Department, DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office, McLean County Sheriff’s Office, Piatt County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State University Police Department, and the Illinois State Police.
