Police probing armed robbery at Casey’s in Fairbury

FAIRBURY – Police are investigating a hold up that happened at a gas station over the weekend in Fairbury.

Officers were called to the Casey’s located at 109 East Oak Street around 8:55 p.m. Saturday.

Police said a male suspect entered the store and displayed a gun. The suspect demanded money from an employee and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and several packs of cigarettes, according to authorities.

Anyone with information about the hold up is asked to contact Fairbury Police at 815-692-3351.
