BLOOMINGTON – The Citizen Convenience Center in Bloomington has some new hours.

Beginning this week, the center will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It will be open on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. It will be closed on Sunday and Monday.

The center, which is located at 402 S. East Street, south of the Bloomington Public Library, allows people who participate in the solid waste program to bring their items to a central location for processing, rather than waiting for collection.  The service is provided at no additional charge to program participants.
