Coroner identifies victim in fatal crash near Dwight

LIVINGSTON COUNTY – A nine-year-old boy has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash in Livingston County.

Nathan Gast of Reddick died in the single vehicle accident, according to Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson.

Watson said the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. Thursday on Route 17, just east of Dwight in rural Round Grove Township. The driver of a white Chevy Tahoe lost control of the vehicle on the icy road and ended up on its side in a ditch, according to Watson.
