More winter weather across central Illinois

BLOOMINGTON – Another round of winter weather will hit most of central Illinois over the next 24 hours.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for McLean and DeWitt Counties from midnight tonight until 6 p.m. Wednesday.  The winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday until noon Wednesday for Woodford and Tazewell Counties.  The advisory for Livingston County is in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The weather service says expect anywhere from three to six inches of accumulation.  Wind gust could reach 35 mph which could cause drifting snow.

Plan on slippery roads, especially during the Wednesday morning commute.  Updated road conditions are available at gettingaroundillinois.com.
