BLOOMINGTON – Shaun Kink, an orthopedic surgeon formally employed in McLean County, has seen his medical license suspended.
Kink’s license was temporarily suspended for sexual misconduct in the practice of medicine that led to pending criminal charges in McLean County.
Kink was charged with criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual abuse and one count of aggravated criminal sexual assault of a handicapped person, a Class X felony.
This stems from an incident on December 6th, 2019 where Kink allegedly sexually assaulted one of his female patients who is disabled at her home in Bloomington.
On January 31st Kink pleaded not guilty to all four charges he is facing.
He is due back in court March 2nd for a status hearing.
