NORMAL – A rental housing company is offering rent-free apartments to Illinois State University students in response to ISU’s announcement that all university operating housing will be closed until further notice.
Young America announced Thursday temporary housing for 100 students on a week-by-week basis.
“We expect there are some students who will have difficulty returning to a permanent home, and who still need to apply themselves to their university coursework,” said Young America Realty President Andy Netzer. “Yesterday’s news was probably not ideal for everyone, and we’re hopeful these efforts will help mitigate the stresses that some ISU students are experiencing.”
Due to the worldwide Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, President Larry Dietz has announced a series of actions that will significantly impact the Illinois State University community. Please click on the link for more information: https://t.co/C10usKeLj2
