LIVINGSTON COUNTY – Health officials announced a second Livingston County resident has tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials at the Livingston County Health Department were notified of the second positive case Thursday.
The patient is a man in his 60s and is currently hospitalized. The man has no known history of exposure, according to LCHD.
Health officials announced the first case in Livingston County on Sunday. The patient is a woman in her 60s who had travel history. She’s recovering at home in isolation.
LCHD officials continue to work closely with OSF HealthCare and the Illinois Department of Public Health, and have investigated and notified any individuals who may have had exposure to the individuals who tested positive for COVID-19.
