Small business and individuals needing help navigating all the COVID-19 related programs and assistance available can join a conference call Tuesday that will offer guidance.
State Representative Dan Brady (R-Normal) is hosting the public conference call that will outline vital information for local small businesses and workers impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
Brady says his office has been overwhelmed with calls from local workers and families who need help navigating the process for applying for unemployment benefits with the Department of Employment Security.
They will go over the process and answer questions Tuesday as well as go over state and federal programs available to help small businesses get through this difficult time.
Also helping with the call, Charlie Moore from the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the banking industry dealing with small business loans, and staff knowledgeable in the process of applying for unemployment benefits
The call starts at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14th and those wishing to participate should call-in to 888-494-4032, access code 7156374295.
Those with specific questions are asked to email them to in advance to [email protected] and they will be addressed for all listening.
