BLOOMINGTON – With phase three of restoring Illinois beginning Friday, the McLean County Museum of History will forego reopening to the public to complete projects.
“At this time, the start date of the project is not known; however, the Museum is confident the improvements will put us in a position to better serve the public once we again open our doors to the public,” Jeff Woodard, MCMH Director of Marketing said.
In the meantime, the museum will continue to utilize the digital resources it has since the beginning of the pandemic, including online collections, virtual tours, publications, and a five-day virtual history camp happening later in the summer.
