BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a person who smashed the window of a squad car.
BPD said the incident happened May 31 while a squad car was blocking traffic and providing security for a peaceful protest in the area of N. Madison and W. Washington St.
Police said the person of interest is a black man, 20 to 30 years of age, with a medium build. From videos and photos of the event the person appeared to have been wearing a black North Face hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes and a “Black Lives Matter” face mask, according to authorities.
