BLOOMINGTON– Taking measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 Illinois Wesleyan plans to start the fall semester early and finish early as well.
Classes will kick off a week early on August 17 and there will be an early start to winter break with classes and finals expected to be completed by November 20
The schedule changes mean classes will be held on Labor day and fall break will be cancelled. Saturday classes will also be added
Students are asked to keep health expectations in mind as they plan a return to campus. There will be testing for all members of the campus community upon return to campus.
On-Campus housing is still in question as decisions are pending on whether students will be housed in double or single rooms.
Students are urged not to make travel arrangements just yet as plans for a phased move-in based on health and social distancing needs are being made.
