MCHD reports one new cases of COVID-19; McLean county overall positive rate is 2.0%

BLOOMINGTON – Local health officials announced one new case of COVID-19, moving the McLean county total to 258 cases.

McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight reports there are currently no active cases hospitalized, while nine are isolated at home.

There have been 13 deaths in the county.

Officials also report that 13,000 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the county.

Meanwhile, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 738 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday with 14 additional deaths. State health officials are reporting 142,461 cases, with 6,902 deaths.
