Normal Walmart requiring customers to wear face coverings

NORMAL – To ensure customers’ health and safety, Walmart in Normal has implemented a new change.

Walmart announced that face coverings are required for all customers and associates per local state order.

“We’d like to remind everyone that masks are required while shopping with us. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to prioritize our store’s health and safety,” Normal Walmart said in a Facebook post.

Walmart noted that customers’ noses and mouthes must be covered with a mask or cloth.

Exceptions apply for infants and young children and those with health issues.

Additionally, the store will only have the grocery store doors open for customers.

The new changes started on Wednesday.
