Bloomington man charged with child molestation

BLOOMINGTON – McLean County prosecutors have charged a Bloomington man with sex crimes involving a child over several years.

According to news partner HOI ABC, 35-year-old Javier A. Flores is charged with predatory sexual assault of a child dating back to May of 2011.

He’s also charged with attempted aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving the same alleged victim in March of 2019.

The charges were the result of a Bloomington Police investigation, but the department has not released information about the case.

Flores has to post a $30,035 cash bond to be released on bond.

His next court date is July 24.
