Health officials announce three new cases of COVID-19

BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Health officials report three new Coronavirus cases, increasing the county total to 385 cases.

Officials report 66 individuals are isolating at home, while one individual remains hospitalized. There are 303 individuals that have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.

“COVID-19 remains a serious concern in our community,” McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight said. “As testing increases across the state, and with more people are out and about, we expect to continue seeing our positive case numbers increase. We encourage everyone to continue working together to help control the spread of the virus to keep our county, region, and state in a safe place.”

More than 19,00 tests have resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 2.0%. The rolling 7-day positivity rate is 2.2%.

There have been 15 COVID-19 deaths in the county.
