BLOOMINGTON – McLean County added 36 new coronavirus cases Wednesday as 17 additional people recovered from the virus.
There are 1,338 active cases, according to McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight. Eight people are hospitalized, two in intensive care, and 1,330 are isolating at home.
There are 1,307 people who have recovered and there have been 17-COVID related deaths.
The county’s rolling positivity rate dropped for the third straight day to 9.9%.
Meanwhile, both Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University reported three additional students have tested positive for coronavirus. ISU’s case total is now 1,321 with a positivity rate of 13.7%.
