Winter wheat is all that’s in play – and that’s 99 percent emerged.
The last week in November recorded a statewide average temperature of 41, about four degrees warmer than normal. Precipitation averaged 1.19 inches, 0.28 more than normal.
USDA Illinois crop statistician Mark Schleusener thanks all who contributed to this year’s report.
