BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Health officials report 237 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday, while the county’s positivity rate is below 9%.
MCHD reports 1,179 individuals are isolating at home, while 9,484 individuals have been released from isolation.
McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight reports more than 167,300 tests have resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 6.4%. The 7-day rolling positivity rate dropped slightly from 9.5% to 8.4%.
McKnight also reports 28 McLean County residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19, up from 24 on Friday.
“It is important to remember that this number does not represent all persons currently hospitalized for COVID-19 or for other treatment and care. Our local hospitals provide care for individuals from outside our county.”
McLean County hospitals are reporting 92% of ICU beds in use and 68% of total beds in use.
There have been 85 COVID-related deaths in the county.
