Lottery jackpots reaching record level winnings

BLOOMINGTON – If you’re feeling lucky, the chance to win millions continues as the lottery jackpots are reaching record level winnings.

The Powerball jackpot has now grown to $730 million and the Mega Millions jackpot has reached $850 million.

The Powerball drawing was Saturday and the Mega Millions on Friday, but no one claimed either of lucky set of numbers.

Local gas station workers said they have seen an increase in lottery ticket purchases, with one customer purchasing around $200 worth of tickets.

Powerball is played on Wednesday and Saturday. Mega Millions is played every Friday and Tuesday night.
