NORMAL – Normal Police responded to the Lancaster Heights Apartment Complex around 4:00 pm Sunday to a report of someone stabbed.

Upon arrival officers located a victim who had suffered apparent stab wounds from a knife. The victim’s injuries are considered non-life threatening.

A Normal Police Sergeant said they located a suspect and took 22-year-old Jamellia Harris into custody.

Harris was then taken to the McLean County Jail for booking. Charges are pending an investigation.
