Livingston County authorities investigate deadly shooting

CULLOM – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in the small Livingston County community of Cullom.

The sheriff’s office released a short statement saying they were called just before 11:55 a.m. to Hillside Drive where police found a person who suffered a gunshot wound. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity is not being released.

Police said they consider the shooting an “isolated” incident and there is no danger to the public.

Sheriff’s police and the Livingston County coroner are investigating the case.
