Gas prices on the rise across the state

BLOOMINGTON – Gas prices across the state have risen 2.6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.28 per gallon today.

GasBuddy dot com’s daily survey show prices in Illinois are 8.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.05 per gallon higher than a year ago.

But if you think that’s high – going back to June 14 of 2014, we paid $3.96 per gallon.

Back in 2013, gas was running $4.16 per gallon for a full-up.
