BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a home invasion investigation.

According to a news release, Police responded around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday to an apartment in the 1000 block of E. Grove St. for an armed robbery.

During the investigation, officers learned that an adult male opened his apartment door, and two suspects forcefully entered the apartment.

The victim alleges one suspect continually pointed a pistol at him. However, the victim sprayed a type of pepper spray at the suspects, causing them to free.

Both male suspects are described as younger adult males, thin and approximately 5’10” to 6’0″ tall.
