Motorcyclist killed in crash north of Twin-Cities

HUDSON – A man died Tuesday afternoon when his motorcycle crashed in Hudson.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder pronounced a 72-year old man dead at the scene about 3:40 p.m. at 24032 Ron Smith Memorial Highway.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the accident, authorities said.

The coroner is withholding the man’s name until his relatives are notified. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed on Wednesday.

The coroner and McLean County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the crash.
