BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police went to Minnesota this week to return a murder suspect to the Twin-Cities where he’ll stand trial.
Kentrell Brown, 18, faces three murder charges for the shooting March 7 that killed Natwan Nash, 26, of Bloomington. Nash suffered multiple gunshot wounds at an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Clearwater Avenue.
Police captured Brown in May in Olmsted County, Minnesota, where he recently waived extradition and was brought to the McLean County Jail.
Brown is being held on $3 million bond, and he’ll have to come with $300,000 cash to be released before his trial.
Brown is scheduled to be arraigned on the murder charges Friday in McLean County Court.
