BLOOMINGTON – Since Wednesday, the McLean County Health Department reports 64 new cases of COVID-19.
Local health officials report 28 McLean County residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 23 people remain hospitalized in the twin cities for the virus.
At last count, 92% of ICU beds and 95% of total beds are in use.
Authorities report 374 people are isolating at home, while 21,499 people have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
The county’s positivity rate held steady at 4.5%, while the rolling 7-day positivity rate is down to 2.6% from 2.8%.
There have been 257 COVID-related deaths reported in the county.
Officials also report approximately 186,418 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the county, and 54.14% of the population are fully vaccinated.
