NORMAL – A former Normal Police officer, who used to be a school resource officer, has pleaded guilty to drunken driving.
Amanda Street, 42, was initially placed on administrative leave, and later resigned following her arrest for DUI in rural Towanda on April 2.
Police said Street had a blood alcohol level of .148.
For her guilty plea, Street received no jail time. She was placed on two years of court supervision, and was ordered to pay almost $2,000 in fines.
A Unit 5 spokesperson said Street worked as a school resource officer at Normal West High School.
