Bloomington Police probing weekend shooting

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are probing a second shooting over the weekend.

On Saturday, Police responded to the 900 block of West Olive for a “shots fired” call.

Police say gunfire struck an occupied vehicle that was driving in the 600 block of West Jefferson Street.

There were no injuries, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Bloomington Police Officer Scott Karstens at 309-820-888.

Authorities say a different shooting over the weekend injured a 24-year old between Fox Creek Road and Morris Avenue.
