BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington-Normal YMCA has named Patrick Mainieri as the organization’s first Chief Operating Officer.
Mainieri is currently an assistant principal at Bloomington High School. According to a news release, he has more than 12 years of experience working with and supporting YMCA’s and 15 years in public education.
“Patrick is a fantastic addition to the team here. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help us better serve our community at a critical time,” said B.J. Wilken, CEO of the Bloomington-Normal YMCA.
Mainieri relocated to the Bloomington-Normal area in 2013 from South Carolina.
According to the release, the Chief Operating Officer’s essential job functions are multi-functional- operational, supervisory, and collaborative, and are focused on best-in-class quality and experiences for all participants.
His first day with the B-N YMCA will be Jan. 4.
