BLOOMINGTON – A man accused of strangling and punching an eight-year old family member in Bloomington last month remained jailed Tuesday night on felony charges.
McLean County prosecutors charged 46-year old Anthony Sansone, with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of aggravated domestic battery.
The judge granted the state’s request to set bond for Sansone at $100,000. That means he has to post 10% of that or $10,000 to be released from the McLean County Jail.
According to our news partner, Heart of Illinois ABC, nothing was said during the bond hearing whether the child was injured or hospitalized from the reported attack that happened in November.
