SPRINGFIELD – Congressman Rodney Davis (R-Taylorville) is not running for Governor – instead, he will be up for re-election in the newly drawn 15th district.
The Taylorville Republic said that his record stands on conservative values, and as he works to meet new voters, he will be ready to head back to Washington, D.C, to work on behalf of the voters.
“There’s one thing all of my constituents know about me, and my newer constituents are going to know about me – I’m a Conservative that’s never going to sacrifice our core values and principles. I’m also somebody that’s going to go to Washington and get things done. You got to go there and address the problems that your constituents bring to you.
Davis’ was drawn out of his old 13th district, with the most current legislative maps drawn by Illinois lawmakers.
