BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Museum of History in downtown Bloomington is offering free admission to all visitors on Monday, Jan. 17 to honor the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
As part of the McLean County Historical Society’s vision to be an essential element in the cultural and educational fabric of the region, the museum seeks to remove barriers to visitors by offering free admission every Tuesday, however, the latest offering is an extension of that effort.
Jeff Woodard, director of marketing and community relations explains, “students and children twelve and under already enjoy free admission to the Museum anytime. The free admission days removes barriers for adults, with families in mind. As a school holiday we wanted to also encourage parents to come out with their kids and reflect.”
The MCMH will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 15 for a board/staff retreat.
