BLOOMINGTON – In the latest gas report, prices at the pump are up over the past week.
According to GasBuddy, prices are up 4.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.50 per gallon.
“The price of oil pushed into territory unseen in over seven years as crude hit $88 per barrel, which continues to drag gas (prices),” Patrick DeHaan, Head of Petroleum Analysis at Gas Buddy, said.”
In the latest report, the cheapest station in the state is priced at $2.95 per gallon.
Meanwhile, the national average price of gasoline has risen 2.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.34 a gallon.
