Three men behind bars after BPD surrounded a home in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – Three men are in custody in Bloomington, but police remain tight-lipped — calling it an “active investigation.”

Bloomington Police spokesperson John Fermon says police surrounded a home in the 800 block of East Jefferson seeking suspects they believed to be in the home and possibly armed.

The public was notified in case those suspects fled into the neighborhood.

The suspects came out 20 minutes later and were detained without incident.

Fermon says this happened around 1 p.m.
