Coroner identifies Danvers man in rural Mackinaw crash

MACKINAW – A 69-year-old Danvers man has been identified as the victim of a two-vehicle crash in rural Mackinaw.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate Larry Conder died from blunt force head injuries due to the accident, according to Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley. Toxicology testing is pending.

The two-vehicle crash happened Wednesday, Feb. 9 around 11:05 a.m. at the intersection of Illinois Route 9 and King Road.

The incident remains under investigation by Illinois State Police, the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
