ISU Police issue crime advisory; student alleges she was robbed

NORMAL – Illinois State University Police are asking for the public’s help solving an armed robbery late Wednesday night.

According to ISU Police, around 11:00 p.m., Normal Police responded to the 200 block of W. Mulberry St. near Manchester Hall.

An ISU student reports she was walking from her car when an unknown male suspect approached her demanding her wallet and car keys.

Authorities report the male suspect allegedly fled in her vehicle driving north on Fell Street.

Police say there were no weapons involved and no reported injuries.

There is no suspect information and the incident remains under investigation.
