Winter weather advisory Thursday afternoon for Bloomington-Normal

BLOOMINGTON – The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for portions of central Illinois starting at 3 p.m. Thursday and lasting until 6 a.m. Friday.

One to three inches of snow is possible, which could cause slippery road conditions during the evening and morning commutes.

The NWS says drivers should slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be found at gettingaroundillinois.com.
